Vermont Writing Collaborative

About

The Vermont Writing Collaborative was founded in 2007 by a group of classroom teachers, K-12. Using backward design and a content-based, integrated approach, its mission is to help all students write effectively. The Vermont Writing Collaborative sponsors professional development for teachers around New England and beyond, notably in the form of a weeklong summer institute in Vermont as well as other courses and workshops around the country. Recently, the Collaborative teamed with Student Achievement Partners to produce a resource of Common Core writing samples, In Common, for teachers at all grade levels.
